I believe it's one of the classics. How is it?

It's one of my favorites OAT. I couldn't help but feel a weird kind of compassion for Raskolnikov throughout the book. That's truly what makes Dostoevsky a brilliant writer: his understanding of the human condition and psychology.

There was an amazingly well written afterword by the translator in the edition I read. You should not miss it after you're done reading. I believe his name was Sidney Monas.
