Movement makes you feel alive
My routine six weeks ago was having an intense sports or workout session in the morning and then no movement throughout the day.
But I’ve recently included walks every two hours throughout my day - and it’s one of the best things happened to me in 2024.
More than finding a new hobby, I found a method to rest and zoom out a little.
I have always been in a room, isolated and working when I am not with my friends, but walking makes me appreciate little moments around me—parents picking up their kids from school, puppies playing with each other, sunsets, breeze, the flights, plants on my terrace, waving a hi to neighbours and drizzle if I get lucky.
I don’t know how to describe the feeling but I feel more alive and active; I can see it in my mood and focus.
