So why code geass shouldn’t be a starting anime for beginners?

2 major reasons: Mecha anime and fan service

For starters people should animes to see the difference of anime and cartoon

How anime is far better than cartoons as they covered so many good and untouched topics.

Code geass no doubt has great story but mecha anime are very hard to follow

In human world strategies are played and at same time whole new fight is happening with big robots.

And if people are started watching anime only because of hot girls nd boys.

Its not healthy

In major animes fan serviced are used to catch the young audience but many time it overpowers

And make it very near to you know.

So if any person watched a good amount of anime like 20+, they will start seeing real messages behind Code geass

Not just robot fights and hot peoples.

yeah that definitely make sense. i wasn't new to anime when i watched Code Geass but wasn't a veteran (with 20+ under the belt) either. i think for beginners what you said makes sense but it also is based on certain assumptions we make about them.

i think in general if people just want a good story Code Geass is a good shout. And while it is mech-heavy its human aspects are the most impactful.

What happened towards the end really hit me and i took a good few days to process it. Which is why it remains my #1 - and on par with Attack on Titan. The impact

a few but not a lot. mostly shonen. dropping the names on top of my mind: - Naruto (ongoing) - Mob Psycho (last season left) - attack on titan - code geass - jujutsu kaisen - demon slayer - fate stay/night (UBW version) - fate zero - fate: heaven's feel (all 3 movies) - kotaro lives alone (diff genre, very whoelsome and emotional) - one punch man Dropped - HxH - Tokyo Revengers
