It is a tie b/w swiggy and blinkit. Blinkit usually has better inventory where I am at. And also if it is above 200 I go swiggy just cos it has free delivery.

Blinkit has better inventory, like @iTeachChem added, and their suggestion algo based on my purchases feels better. They also surprise me with new, odd SKUs, they have added recently that I might be interested in

Blinkit doesn't have Solid Masti where I live. Also Instamart is faster for me.

Another reason is that.. with Instamart, I don’t have to install another app to order items. One Swiggy app is enough.

Same, I’d started off with Zomato for food and Swiggy for delivery because it’s really prompt here. But moved to Swiggy entirely. I also like the eatlist feature they have and overall UI. (Haven’t used Zomato in a while don’t know if eatlists are everywhere)

Zepto majorly. I have restarted ordering from Blinkit lately after 7-8 months, but I am still hesitant. Had bad delivery incidents with Blinkit 3-4 times so stopped using it.

Instamart delivers in 5 to 10 minutes for me and usually has everything. For insanely good, I was ready to wait for a day because of the exotic produce but Swiggy ruined it and closed it. Zepto takes 12-15 minutes but they don’t have better produce than instamart, so I use it only if the item is not available on instamart. Big basket now delivers in 20 minutes and I order from them only on the days when I want Tasties baked bhakri. I have used Amazon very rarely and haven’t ever tried blinkit. Instamart being a part of Swiggy makes it easy.

Depends on what priority does convenience have on your list but for most people I think getting it sooner just makes sense. 1. You want to receive your order while you’re at home so if it delivers in few minutes it makes sense. 2. Slots are unpredictable and time blockers. Having a definite delivery time makes more sense. 3. If you exclusively shop from the apps, you can order missing ingredients or things you want while preparing other things. Could you live without fast deliveries: yes. Do we need to? No. I mean you can’t download food from your phone but fast deliveries come close.

For me, it’s not so much about getting something in 5-10 minutes, but more about having things delivered at my convenience. Quick delivery can be great, but I think it’s easy to get caught up in an artificial sense of urgency that these services create.

I LOVE instamart. Blinkit's service has become really bad. Zepto doesn't let me track my order, which I lowkey diskliked and stopped using it. BB I remember had some great products which other quick commerce didn't. Like Amul's Sour Cream. But with BB Now they don't keep all this anymore.
