When I first watched it, Pacific Rim it seemed unreal, the very start of the movie is exciting, the CGI is crazy, there is so much to unpack in the first few moments of the movie it gets you excited for the rest of it. Directed by Guillermo del Toro, it brings the age old sci-fi craze about huge robots vs monsters, even though the concept of the movie is old it feels fresh. The Robots (Jeagers in the movie) and the monsters (Kaiju) are really brought to life with the CGI each punch feels real.

Performances are great too, Idris Elba’s speech is very similar to how it is in Independence Day. The whole cast and the movie do a great job of making us understand the various Kaiju concepts and their intricacies even though it may sound complex. The movie is great would 100% recommend.
