My best discovery? A worn-out copy of Days of Heaven that I managed to borrow from one of my school seniors. And oh my, it was a revelation! Days of Heaven wasn’t just a movie; it was my first brush with the art of cinematography. Something the naive and ignorant me never knew existed. Yes, the plot takes a backseat, and there are moments where factual accuracy is tossed aside. But it doesn’t matter. Every frame is visual poetry, weaving its magic in a way only cinema can.
