When I started watching Dead Poets Society, all I knew was the famous “Oh Captain, My Captain” line — thanks to Mike Ross (Suits). I thought it was yet another High School drama. But my oh my, I was not prepared for how much this movie would hit me. It’s funny, heartfelt, and deeply moving in ways that go beyond your imagination.

Robin Williams' performance as John Keating isn’t just memorable — it’s legendary. He’s warm, witty, and absolutely magnetic. And my favourite character till date.

The movie doesn’t preach; it nudges you, gently but firmly, to look at your own life and choices. The writing is razor-sharp, balancing humor, heartbreak, and moments that make you pause to reflect. And then there’s the ending. Oh, that ending. It’s one of the most stunning, emotional conclusions I’ve ever seen. I’m not going to spoil it, but let’s just say I was crying (ugly) by the time the credits rolled. It’s raw, it’s powerful, and it ties everything together in a way that stays with you long after the movie is over. It has stayed with my since 2015.

Dead Poets Society doesn’t just remind you to 'seize the day'; it shows you why it matters. If you haven’t seen it yet, do yourself a favor and watch it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?…
