It would be interesting know what made Pakistani dramas click so well with us. I know they are relatable (similar people and relationship dynamics) but it's the natural flavor they add in the dialogues and performances which makes them work.
Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum is no exception. Last I loved was Zindagi Gulzar Hai

It would be interesting know what made Pakistani dramas click so well with us. I know they are relatable (similar people and relationship dynamics) but it's the natural flavor they add in the dialogues and performances which makes them work.
There have been so many dramas after Zindagi Gulzar Hai that resonated well with audiences around the globe.
Apart from simplicity and relatability, I feel they are cleaner that OTT series coming out of elsewhere right now. Like you can watch it with your family. Also, the traditional TV dramas in India have lost touch.
I also appreciate the brevity of the dramas. 30 episodes max and you get a closure. Same reason why I watch KDramas too.
BTW, Netflix is coming up with their first Pakistani Original. They have looped in all the top stars from our neighbouring country.
