Tennis 🎾 You might think Tennis was invented in England because duh Wimbledon but it actually originated across the channel in France. It evolved from a 12th-century French handball game known as Paume (palm), in which the ball was hit with a hand.

Boxing 🥊 Boxing dates back to 3000 BC, making it one of the oldest sports. It was the Egyptians who first recorded boxing with a spectator as well as a boxer. However, unlike modern boxing, there were no gloves to protect their fists.

Chess ♟️ The earliest forms of Chess originated in India in the 6th Century AD and borrows a lot of elements from Chaturanga, another board game from India. The game then travelled to Persia and Asia, and became supremely popular.
