Only ever explored MongoDB, so not sure about the options
MongoDB's read and write operations are bit slow. Consecutive operations are little challenging in Mongo.
The other options could be DynamoDB, Cassandra, Redis, CouchBase, Hbase and few more

Firebase is good for fetching ,, storing and updating multiple things at a time is bit lengthy process and it reserves the bandwidth of the APIs until the process gets completed
