Yeah, like having that customisability as an option. I'm someone who immediately goes into Developer Settings and speeds up all the animations. So I will surely play around with all these new settings if got the chance.

How long do you think it’ll stay fun before it seems obsolete?

What do you mean by obsolete?

I think whenever you want to give your home screen a new look, that's when you will come back to it, which is probably not a lot.

Also to note, this feature is accessible from Samsung's first party app called Good Lock; this app kinda hides all the extra things for customizability.

lol, you can get colored stickers to place on different parts of the glyph and assign different lights for different notifications, nevertheless it do be just a gimmick.

Yea, it has no value so far

This samsung feature is also giving me the same vibes, like it has no real value.

I believe we've reached a point of stagnation in smartphones where the hardware is already pretty good, the software is also pretty good, but since the companies need to sell new phones every year to increase their revenue, they keep releasing new phones with slight spec improvements that probably don't change the experience much for the average user, and a bunch of software updates that mostly just end up feeling like bloat....
