I meant for 3rd party developers, which by the "3rd party" nomenclature i just said, iOS probably doesn't allow it

Yeah, I noticed it on your phone.
One either just makes the home page look good, rest of the stuff can live in other pages or the app drawer (I do this)
OR, you go all out on customizations, get an icon pack for all custom icons, add a theme and so on..

I remember buying so many icon packs back in the Android days 💀 I was never satisfied

Interestingly I once asked a person how they design the icons on Google+. They told me about this mac software called "Sketch". That was my introduction to UI design

At some point I started deleting apps (remotely useless ones ofc) which don't follow the theme just to make the theme work 😂
