I think I picked up reading as a hobby but also because I hated not knowing something. If it's a joke, I need to know the joke. If it's a reference to something else, I need to check the footnotes. There's always more to know. Not one person in the world knows everything.

I just shared this as an answer to why I read in an internal Sparklin session. There are a lot of worlds in our world. A lot of voices waiting to be heard. Reading makes us meet those worlds, hear those voices, add perspectives that we wouldn't imagine otherwise.
