Are you in mood for a new WWII movie? Sit back and put on Narvik because it's worth a watch. It's not amazingly great and there are very mixed reviews out there but here's why I liked it:
1. I did not know that Noway was officially neutral when the war broke out. And Hitler still invaded it anyway. It was a pivotal moment in the war, because it was Hitler’s first military defeat.
2. Narvik focuses on the human cost of war, rather than showing large-scale battles. So if you're into guns and explosions, this might not be a lot of fun. It shows moral complexities that people face.
3. This movie didn't have a huge budget, yet it delivers stunning cinematography of Norwegian landscapes.
