Hold fn key and it creates an anchor point wherever your cursor is. From there any direction you move your cursor in, the snapping can happen with pre-defined rules.
The app has a lot of other features too

If you use extended displays in a multi-monitor setup, its seems impossible to snap a window on the edge of the display where the next screen continues from.
You can get it to snap to top and bottom quadrants, but having it fully from top to bottom doesn't seem to work
