The world created in the series feels like the one you would love to look at but somehow won’t want to be in. Though the comedy isn’t as dark as the mood of the lighting in this, some stupid lines will make you smile. The predictable plot keeps me kind of excited by things other than the major twists. It’s never about who’s right or who’s wrong throughout the show, but it’s always about who’s going to do what next.

Accidental deaths become predictable after a point of time. You’d smell from afar about what could happen next, and many a time, you won’t be wrong.

A scene shows some characters running from the goons only to go back to their home, an address known by the one following them. Why? The “senior police hallucinating his dead colleague following his clues to solve the investigation” plot just didn’t work with me. It made things too convenient to be predict about. He follows whatever he hallucinates to solve the case.

The psychological aspect of "Killer Soup" is evident in the complex relationships between the characters, their motivations, and the dark humor that sets the show apart. The series encourages viewers to enjoy the ride through both the lens of flavour and the lens of form, offering an engaging and entertaining experience for those who appreciate dark comedies and thrillers.
