Do y’all follow the concept of yearly themes?
I’ve been following it since the last 3 years and it’s been quite helpful. Some themes before were: Year of positivity, year of order.
The upcoming year is the year of growth for me.

This sounds way more like helpful than setting resolutions!
How did you go about pursuing the year of order?

Can we have multiple themes?
Yes you can. You can also have them in seasons. Like first half of the year adventure and next half finance for example.

That’s interesting. What will an adventure theme entail. How will you use the theme bot to guide you to adventure

How did you go about pursuing the year of order?
100%. Resolutions fade very easily, mostly by Feb. A broad but simple theme guides each decision throughout the year.
I think I did order in 2019. It was about setting up routines and systems that helped established order. Also maybe limiting the number of things you work on and focusing on just a few.
What’s your theme going to be for 2023?

That is interesting. I think having the year of order could help everyone to some extent as sticking by habits can be a lil tricky.
For me - I’ll probably keep 2023 as the year of progress. There are things I want to do both personally and professionally, with already initiated routines. Progress broadly would help me track and reflect back on the growth :)
On a side note, can we discuss how good Grey’s stick figure videos have gotten over the years!?

Try new things and become wanderer.

My 2018 was year of stability.
2019 was year of colours (finally thinking beyond black, gray and blue).
2020 was supposed to be Year of adventures but became year of disasters 😭
2021 was year of being present and moving on.
2022 was year of recovery.
2023 will be year of JOMO.
I have a document of detailed themes as such with supporting points for specific themes.

Hello fellow Cortexan @kavir 🧠
Hey fellow Cortexan 🧠. I havent heard this years podcast but really looking forward to it!
And his stick figure animation has got much better I think also because he has finally outsourced his animation to someone dedicated. So he can focus on the research and scripting.

That’s wonderful that you’ve been following it for so long. JOMO is a great anxiety reducing theme. All the best for it!
Mine had been 2019 year of redemption and order, 2020 year of positivity, 2021 year of leverage (didn’t work as well), 2022 year of being bold (worked alright)
2023 is the year of growth — in career, relationships, life.
