David Fincher teams up with Andrew Kevin Walker (screenplay for Finchers' Seven) as the screenwriter for this episode - ‘Bad Traveling’, and it is definitely one of, if not the best.
I appreciate it when A-list directors work on smaller projects in addition to big-budget films.
The visuals were awesome, and the story was really horrific. The creature was truly terrifying.
I liked the setting design as well, however, the character designs were not to my liking.
The story is simple, but thanks to the tight pacing, it is delivered perfectly.
The horror factor is present, with the proper combination of unpleasant imagery and a macabre plot. It's easy to forget how ridiculous the narrative is at times since it's all delivered so well.
The screenplay raises questions and then waits until the last possible minute to answer them.
I'll stop here because I don't want to reveal anything more. 😮💨😅
