I can almost guess the kind of folks who'd like it (if not love it) but that's not me.
My problem starts with the movie's name itself.

Ideally, a movie's (or a book's) name is either hinting at its protagonist or the key message, or in some rare cases, is a hint at what's going to happen.
The title here, Zwigato, a pun on Zomato + Swiggy, sounds a tad complicated to recall it easily. But more than anything, what is it really signifying here?

Let's talk about another sore part of the entire premise: Casting a full-blown Punjabi man as someone from Jharkhand. There is almost no dialogue or scene where he doesn't showcase his real personality, either through his tone and accent or through his body language.
Why would you do this?
The only answer I can think of is marketing.
him
I believe the makers of the movie do not really enjoy the act of storytelling. If I had to take a guess, the conflict would be poverty, or perhaps, unemployment, or maybe, bad state of employment at lower level.
But then where is the story?
Where is the whole movement of this lead to that and then this happened and so on? Nothing really pushes the pace of the story. Most things are not even connected.
There is a friend who has almost become an activist and police is looking for him. Interesting, but then what?
Similarly, Manas (Kapil) goes to Zwigato's office to complain. Then what?
Pratima (Shahana Goswami) goes to a lady's house for massage. And then?

This would have worked a lot better as a documentary. I'd say some documentaries have better storytelling than this fictional movie.
him
I would not want to comment on direction, cinematography or anything beyond because everything is below ordinary.
For a concept of this range an sensitivity, if one doesn't even get moist eyed in any scene or feels for the characters, this is a huge defeat of storytelling, script, direction, cinematography, and actors.
him
I loved the concept nonetheless.
Someone needs to make a better movie on the plight of gig workers and un employment and the real India that hardly gets a voice. But let's do it interestingly, please.

Unknowingly, I was drawing parallels with a lot of movies that handled the topic so much better. Sharing them below in no particular order π
