Viraj (Nani) is a doting father to his six-year-old daughter Mahi, diagnosed with cystic fibrosis. She's long-wished to know the story of her (missing) mother but Viraj keeps avoiding the topic. As luck would have it, Mahi is able to recruit a newly found charismatic friend to convince her dad to narrate the story.

The directorial debut of Shouryuv is near brilliant. The Indian Telugu-language romantic drama holds a good pace, strikes the right emotional chord and is blessed with some really well-thought cinematography. But to top it all, the director managed to get possibly the best performances from his entire cast. The most charming actor and character, the core reason why you must attempt to watch this movie, is Kiara Khanna. She's phenomenal!

With Hi Nanna, one must notice the subtle creativity of how the same character over different timeframes has been represented. Also, the whole storytelling and who do I imagine as this character part, is brilliant.
