For this purpose this seems a much better approach. Consumption already feels convenient for sure replying to this specific sub-bit
But control of reply is still in the hand of creator. A consumer of the thread might want to reply to another sub-bit which the creator chose not to separate out. But that might be too much to solve. I’ve seen some website that allows replies to any specific sentence you choose, that would be overkill here
