I'm binging Gossip Girl and out of curiosity, purely and perfectly out of curiosity, I looked up GG fanfics on Wattpad (actively searched for them) and to my immediate surprise, people do still log onto that site... although the appeal isn't just there anymore

I don’t remember the last time I was there but yes the app has remained active.

The quality I am guessing has gone to trash after they monetised it heavily which is literally the antithesis of what they were targeting. I really haven’t followed the app since I left school.

Season 1 was solid, but the first episode was yikes. I'm on S3 and it's testing my patience right now, but I'm sort of holding on because I want to know how everything plays out now that everyone's in college. Might actually drop it when things start going in circles like it did in S2

Yeah, it gets horrible. I can’t even watch it while eating. I feel with the first episode they went a bit too far in their whole scandalous teen show thingy. And then it got famous and they were I oop- we need characters to milk for 1500 episodes now so scale back
