There are some movies that entertain you, some that inspire you, and then there are the rare few that leave an imprint on you. La La Land is one of those for me. I just rewatched it 🫣 From the very first scene—an over-the-top musical number on a crowded LA freeway—I was hooked. The vibrant colours, the dreamlike cinematography, and the infectious energy were like stepping into a world where anything was possible. And yet, at its heart, La La Land isn’t just about the magic of dreams; it’s about their cost. Two dreamers trying to make it in a city that swallows ambitions whole. The movie was bittersweet in the most beautiful way. Would I watch La La Land again? Absolutely. Not just for the music or the visuals, but for the way it made me feel—hopeful, joyful and a little heartbroken all at once 😶‍🌫️
