Has Karan Johar made a single good film in his entire life?

I remember liking the performances and not much else, especially in the second half. Good reason to rewatch though!

I disagree. It’s very Kjo. Another director like Kabir Khan would’ve made a very different movie.
Remember mama Jenny?

Rocky Rani was an entertaining watch, can’t be called a bad movie by any means.
Kuch kuch hota hai got so much success at the time that credit has to be given to it.
Kabhi alvida naa kehna was again entertaining and ahead of its time because it showed adultery in “grey” light.
K3G is, well… simply iconic.
If someone dislikes horror movies they won’t appreciate Ari Aster and James Wan. One has to see Karan Johar for what he is and brings

By that, I meant he was trying something different in that he wanted his directing to be taken seriously. By the end of it, I'd begged to differ with my own views because it felt like a confusing mess to me. Kabir Khan did make a different post-9/11 movie, didn't he? It was New York, iirc.
