The Kolkata International Book Fair wrapped up yesterday. I bought my fair share of books, but the thing that stood out to me the most in one of the shops was this comic strip. It was being sold along with other editions by the artist himself at Comics Metro. His name - Kaustav Choudhury.
Translation: Comics Metro (left), Kaustuv (Centre).

I was stunned by his drawing style. It immediately reminded me of Kentaro Miura's Berserk, and Jack Kirby's bold and daunting sketches.

As you can tell, it's extremely skilled penmanship. 13-year-old me could never (25-year-old me can only dream). Upon asking the artist more about his art, he said he's been self-publishing his stuff for a while. His online presence is unfortunately non-existent. I'm posting this here just because all of it looks so cool.
