I enjoyed reading about the game-making process and all the 90s throwbacks. But the story took drastic turns in every which way, in a way it felt disingenuous to even trauma dump. None of the characters were all too likeable, which is fine imo, except they're not emotionally mature either. It's a pity because I dig the writing style,βthe book took me a couple of days to breeze through.
