Whiplash has to be one of the most intense musical movies i have ever seen. It's a gripping movie about ambition , passion and cost of greatness. Story revolves around a young drummer who dreams of being the greatest and his ruthless music instructor. The character of the mentor is pretty serious and stressful in a weirdly fascinating way. The MC's obsession and frustration makes it even more intense. The drumming sequences are so intense they almost feel like an action scenes. It's surely a treat if you are a jazz fan. This movies also questions ,if it is worth sacrificing everything for the greatness?. It doesn't answer that but leaves us thinking .
