I loved how Julia Roberts’ character, with sheer grit and determination, takes on a corporate giant with nothing but her instincts, empathy, and relentless pursuit of justice. She is bold, unapologetic, and fiercely compassionate — qualities that make her impossible not to root for. No wonder she won an Oscar for it!

The film balances raw emotion with moments of humour, making it not just a legal drama but also a story about resilience and the power of standing up for what’s right. Even after so many years, Erin’s journey feels relevant — highlighting environmental issues, corporate accountability, and how one determined person can make a difference.
