The amazing ride of the book starts from history and then starts the building of culture, building responsibility and all the journey of the Zomato from start to end. There are some key takeaways which I thought were very insightful, let me share them:

1. No matter how big we become, let's always stick to our origins, that means never forgetting your core values and why you started the journey. An amazing line in this book — "We don't build products and services to make money. We make money to build products and service so we can serve our communities better".

2. You are responsible for yourself, which means no messiah will hold your hand and make your life better. So push yourself towards new learning and try to implement and then ask for feedback.

4. We mostly seek people who will confirm your existing beliefs and validate your ideas. Instead of seeking confirmation, actively seek contradictions to improve your work.

5. We always fall into the trap of decisions like growth OR profit, speed OR quality, long-term OR short-term. Instead of this start looking for both extremes like growth AND profit, speed AND quality, long-term AND short-term. So think "AND" not "OR".

6. Because of the fear of failure, we are afraid to take risks but this feeling of afraid is a good thing. Feeling afraid in the pursuit of something great is a reminder that you care. At the same time don't be so afraid because growth lies in discomfort.

7. Try to work with a sense of urgency because this feeling helps you to solve a situation faster instead of overthinking it.
