Haven’t understood this craziness and obsession around tracking sleep, analysing it and making it “efficient” Is it really necessary? And is having a good sleep that hard these days?

Having a good sleep is a very difficult task for me. But your point is somewhat valid. I bought the Ultrahuman ring for sleep tracking and tbh I haven’t benefited much from it yet. I have the sleep data but never end up acting on it cause insomnia doesn’t get fixed that way. Maybe the data could help when consulting a medical professional.

Is this anymore helpful than the Apple sleep data? If you have tracked or used that before

You mean by wearing the watch all night? I don’t like wearing it all night that’s why I bought the ring. I believe Apple’s Health app does not do any analysis or offer suggestions. So Ultrahuman app is def more helpful that way.

I just like knowing how many hours I’ve slept. Apple Health does that for me. Everything else seems quite fluff.

I wonder too. Working out in the morning is said to improve wakefulness and result into good sleep later. So I assume this would do the opposite.

Stretching before sleeping is good, but falling asleep within seconds of hitting the bed is generally a sign of exhaustion/stress.

It just has become excuse to be okay about your crankiness in the morning. And not taking any action to improve it. Ohh I am cranky because I got 0 deep sleep 🥲 Wish it could motivate me like calorie trackers
