Do you the know difference between co-pay and deductible in health insurance?
Deductible is a pre-agreed amount upto which you have to bear the medical expenses in a policy year or per hospitalisation whereas co-payment is a pre-agreed percentage that you need to pay in every claim.
It is preferred to not have either. These options are given to reduce the overall premium. However, it is always better to have one with zero copayment and zero deductible.
