Why would Tom Cruise even get considered for 'Top Gun'? Because he dealt with some *risky business* before 😏 Funniest joke aside, this iconic movie brought Tom into limelight and made him an A-list actor. Before Risky Business he was only getting supporting roles. But his first leading role as Joel Goodson set him on a stardom course. Without this movie, I don't think Tom would've reached the heights he is scaling today — literal and metaphorical. This is easily one of the best coming of age movies and one of my top favs.
