Since it's gonna be Scorsese month I wanted to post one of my favorite movie openings.
What really makes it special is that it crystallizes the whole career of Scorsese. That frame of an awkward handshake between a gangster and the priest should tell you all about what themes and emotions really concerns Scorsese.
