Apart from this amazing journey which is shared by @pratyush. I am more curious about the journey of Singapore so I researched its history and sharing a few points here:

Singapore is a small country with a big story. It became its own country in 1965 and had a lot of problems like being very poor, having too much crime, too many people living close together, not enough jobs and many people couldn't read or write. But now, Singapore is known as the Finance Capital of Asia.

A Compact Nation with a Dense Population Despite its modest size, almost half that of Delhi, Singapore boasts a population density of 8,028 per square kilometerβ€”18 times more than India. This high density could have been a stumbling block, but Singapore turned it into an opportunity, showcasing efficient urban planning and sustainable living.

How Singapore Became Rich and Successful Singapore doesn't have things like oil or minerals that many countries sell to get money. Instead, it has smart policies that help people and businesses make money. The government keeps taxes low, between 2% to 24%, so people can keep more of what they earn. It also runs big companies to help the country make money.

Making Business Easy Singapore is the second easiest place in the world to do business, just after New Zealand. This is because the government made it simpler to start and run a business, with less paperwork, and made it easier for foreign companies to come and invest. This has helped Singapore a lot.

A Corruption-Free Society Singapore's stance against corruption is unwavering. Ranked as the 4th least corrupt nation among 180 countries, it's the only Asian country consistently in the top 10 for the past decade. This achievement stems from high government salaries, performance-based rewards, and stringent penalties for corruption.

Helping Everyone Get Along Singapore is a mix of different religions and cultures. The government has worked hard to make sure everyone gets along, like by making sure people of different religions live together in the same buildings. This helps everyone understand each other better.

The Architect of Modern Singapore: Lee Kuan Yew Lee Kuan Yew's leadership was pivotal in Singapore's transformation. His policies focused on meritocracy, pragmatism, and honesty. Determined to prevent a personality cult, he emphasized collective effort and governance over individual glorification.

Singapore's story is very inspiring. It shows that even if a country starts with many problems, it can still become very successful with good leadership, smart planning, and by making sure everyone works together. Singapore is now a place where people from all over the world come to live, work, and do business.
