2024 has not yet arrived but we already have our hands on perhaps one of the most interesting phones of the year, This is the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G from Xiaomi, which is launching on January 4. We cannot tell you much about it right now (restrictions of embargo), but as you can see, it does look rather different, with that block design on the back. And the back is vegan leather and the display is curved. And it is unlikely to cost the earth, Stay tuned!

That vegan leather back with its textures and the different shaded blocks can be difficult to spot. So here you go with a close up.

And that is the front, Am afraid we cannot share specs as yet, and we do not even know the price, But the Note has always been a mid-segment device. The previous Note 12 Pro+ was priced close to Rs 30,000, So if Xiaomi can give us a vegan leather back and a curved display at that price (we are assuming the chip and cameras will be improved, as they generally are with every upgrade), that would be something.

So do we! We just wish they had done with slightly deeper colours, because these get a little lost?

Agreed. Can’t understand why do texture of leather and not have common leather colours like Tan?!

Exactly. Samsung did try that, but the implementation was not the greatest. The more the reason something different could /should have been done, perhaps...

Agreed. I'd still love that tan leather texture, and even emerald green leather.
